Even for people who travel a lot, being turned away from a flight is a nightmare. If you’ve made the same mistake, don’t worry! If you don’t know, denied boarding is when the airline staff won’t let a passenger on the plane. There could be several denied boarding reasons for this, such as overbooked flights, flight delays, flights being canceled, and so on. European Regulation 261\/2004 says that if this happens, the airline must pay compensation unless there are special circumstances.<\/p>\n

The EU denied boarding regulations give the passenger<\/a> the most rights as long as the passenger shows up 45 minutes before the flight and follows all other rules. If you don’t get on the plane even after following all the rules, you are entitled to 250\u20ac for a flight range of 1500km and 400\u20ac for a flight range of 3000km.<\/p>\n\t\t
